Kenneth P. Halloran, Esq. came to the firm after fourteen years as Government Relations Director for the Massachusetts State Police, the largest law enforcement agency in New England. Additionally, in 2017, he was appointed to the newly formed Cannabis Advisory Board which advanced policy recommendations to the Cannabis Control Commission.

In his Government Relations role, Ken was the organization’s point person with legislators and their staff, executive branch agencies and municipal policymakers. Each year, he was responsible for obtaining funding through the budget process and developing and advocating on legislation that impacted the agency, its members and public safety in general. He developed relationships and worked closely with elected officials, various agencies and public interest groups.

Early in his career, Ken was recognized and awarded the Medal of Merit for saving lives. He then spent three years as a prosecutor in Quincy District Court. From 1995 to 2001, he held positions in the Governor’s Weld, Cellucci and Swift administrations reporting to the Governor’s Chief Legal Counsels and Chief Secretaries. Later, he was appointed Clerk Magistrate of the Falmouth and Edgartown District Courts.

Ken has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor from New England School of Law.
